MCBC Spring Tune up April 19th
The Spring Tune up will be a one day informal day of sailboat racing. We look to have a nice group of Scot sailors. Sailing will be at the Mcniff Farm, with a Friday night social hosted here at my house. For more info call#252-422-2339 Joe Brake
CAROLINA DISTRICTS! AUG 23-24th
It is official! Black Beard Sailing Club will host the 2008 Carolina District Championships! Mark you Calendars for August 23rd and 24th. Come and join Fleet #78 for an unforgettable time.
Looking for that late summer sea breeze? Well... come on down and enjoy the sailing here in New Bern, North Carolina were 20+ Flying Scots will be duking it out for the 2008 Carolina District Championship. We are also looking forward to the great competition from the surrounding districts. We have always had folks from the Capitol and Florida Districts to join us, and fight us for bragging rights! You know...they can't take the metal home, but they always make sure to let us know that they beat us in our own regatta...so bring it on! Black Beard Sailing Club offers a great venue here in eastern North Carolina. With an attractive club build up on stilts overlooking the sailing area, the club's big decks offer a great place for spectating or just enjoying the view. Look forward to great hospitality and great sailing! Black Beard Sailing Club, is located 10 minutes from historic down town New Bern. New Bern offers a host of great restaurants, hotels, and night life. We look forward to a big fleet and a great time! We will be going 10 deep on the trophies for both skipper and crew, and look to having a big screen video recap of the days sailing. Saturday night will bring a fried chicken and seafood feast with a chance to socialize and enjoy the company of your Flying Scot Buddies! So...Come support us here on the coast.
